Borja Iglesias scored the winning goal, but what’s more impressive is how Celta achieved the win with 9 men on the pitch. Two Celta players were sent off between the 54th and the 56th minutes - Ilaix Moriba and Iago Aspas. Despite being down to 9 men, Celta survived and took the win.

Now Moriba and Aspas are missing the next match against Real Madrid which is a huge hit for Celta, especially because of Aspas. Celta’s legendary striker is crucial for the team and his absence against Madrid is certainly not good news.

The Greek international Anastasios Douvikas shall replace Iago Aspas in the line-up against Real Madrid. The 25-years old Greek forward has scored just one goal this season, but he remains a quality asset for Celta.

Real Madrid are second in La Liga’s standings with 21 points which puts them three points behind the leader Barcelona. Los Blancos are prepared to go “all in” against Celta as they need the three points. It seems that this season they are going to have a tough fight with Barca for the title. The Catalans look strong under the management of Hansi Flick.

Before the break Real Madrid secured their 6th win for the season. Carlo Ancelotti’s team hosted Villarreal at the Bernabeu and scored twice for an easy 2-0 win. Federico Valverde opened the score for Madrid while Vinicius scored the second one. It was Vini Jr’s 4th league goal for the season. Only Kylian Mbappe has scored more than him - 5.

There are some bad news for Real Madrid after the match against Villarreal. The influential Dani Carvajal will miss the remaining of the season because of a serious knee injury. Most likely Lucas Vasquez will replace Carvajal in Madrid’s line-up at the right back position. There are some expectations that Real Madrid will look for a new player on this position in January.

That’s the free soccer tips for today for the La Liga clash between Celta Vigo and Real Madrid. Even away from home, Los Blancos are aware that it’s a must-win situation for them. Ancelotti’s team won four of its last five matches in the league, so clearly Madrid are doing well at the moment.
